First Post!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Blog,
Nothing is happening right now. Windsurfing is good and we bought another old board on trade-me plus two sails plus a mast plus a wishbone for $23.50!! They're old but still in good shape. It'll be fun sailing that one with our old one.
Learning experiences, hm, ok, none so far but I learned that it takes at least a week to send maths from Wellington to here. :P
That's all,

  1. Yay Summer you made it! Well done for persevering and getting this far. I get a bit lost with the language of your sailing. Remember that lots of us out here aren't sailors, I wonder what a wishbone is and an old board???

Try to keep your comments positive and here is the place for you to comment on your learning. Its also a place for you to place some of your sketches with a comment about them.

    Goodl luck!

thank-you for the comments guys! And for being the first people to write comments for me!
Sandy - a wishbone is a boom (which is the metal or wooden stick that is at the bottom of a sail on a sailboat. It is exactly the right height to hit you on the head and whack you into the water. They raise bruises really well that hurt heaps)on a windsurfer though, they are still at head height, but they go all the way round the sail in a pointy oval shape. What gives them their name is the black hand grip that runs all the way from three-quarters down both sides to the point of one end of the oval where there is a rope. So it looks like a wishbone!
phewf! I hope I explained that clearly.
